Core Offer

Reach Out simply has two goals:

‘to serve our families well’ and to be a ‘fulfilling place to work’

The above mission will be delivered through a series of guided support sessions that work to help families identify areas of struggle/imbalance and then provide a variety of life skill/activity-based opportunities which will set to strengthen the family’s foundations and build their resilience.

These sessions will be delivered by experienced and committed family support workers, each of whom will create self-belief and expansion by enabling action through playful and connected learning opportunities.

These programmes will be aimed at families who are not currently meeting other statutory or specialist service criteria/thresholds for intervention. (i.e. early support/breaking cycle/short term guidance)

Referrals will be accepted by families directly or by professionals acting on a family consented behalf. The work will take over a 6 – 12-week period and offered mainly outside of statutory school base hours including afternoons/evenings/weekends and school holiday periods.

Other opportunities available within the program will include:

  • Attending support groups

  • Training events

  • Access to holiday time day trips & activity days

  • Work experience links

  • Volunteering
